The test measures the upload and download speed of your network under different loads. It also tests how responsive the network is (latency), and if there is traffic congestion or other forms of disruption (Jitter) that could affect your host use case.
Our test employs industry-standard benchmarks with open-source technology from CloudFlare, a leading network service provider. It conducts multiple uploads and downloads tests under various conditions, averaging the results for reliability. In short, it’s quite thorough. For added peace of mind, you might run the test at different times.
Note that while each test gives a good indication of network conditions in a short time window, we cannot guarantee that the test results reflect the general stability or speed of the network.
